It's that time of year again. The biggest technology companies in the world will descend on Las Vegas this month and show off the newest tablets, smartphones, computer processors and display technology around. From ultra-high-definition TVs to "phablets" and super-smartphones, here's a preview of the hottest rumors, gadgets and technologies for CES 2013.
- Samsung Galaxy S4 —5 inch smartphone much like the note tablet.
- Sony Xperia Z —also a 5 inch smartphone but with a quad-core processor and 2 GB of ram, more than the new Ipad.
- AMD Radeon 8000M GPUs —stepping up its mobile graphics.
- Huawei Ascend Mate — 6.1 inch display details still pending.
- Samsung 110-inch UHD TV — “ultra high definition” 4 times the resolution of HD.
- Intel TV Service/Set-Top Box —cloud based TV service will bundle several TV channels and stream the content through the set-top box.
- Nvidia Tegra 4 — chipset boasts some impressive metrics in the visuals department.
- ZTE Grand S — what could be the world's thinnest smartphone.
- ZTE Windows Phablet — Is it a phone? Is it a tablet? No, it's a phablet! A 5.9-inch smartphone-tablet hybrid device , and get this -- it's a Windows phone.
- LG Electronics H13 Processor —chip for smart TVs.
- Nokia Windows 8 tablet —could they give a glimpse into a 10 inch?

- Samsung Flexible Display — introduction of bendable screens -- a 5.5-inch HD model for smartphones and an enormous 55-inch model for HDTVs. While the new flexible display technology will bend and curve, it's not so flexible that it can be rolled.
- LG Hecto Laser TV Projector — can create a 100-inch image that looks like a digital TV screen.
- Samsung Smart Hub — will bring live TV, streaming video, music, social media and various applications together in one interface.
- Intel Low-Power Processors —designed for notebooks and tablets which will likely extend battery life.
